Okay, let’s just get this out there: I’ve finally done it.
I’ve braved the blogging world, pressed publish (with slightly sweaty palms), and here we are — my very first blog post. 👏
You know when you put something off for agesss because you tell yourself:
“I’m not a blogger.”
“What would I even write about?”
“Is anyone even going to read this? (Hi Jay- my hubby and #1 supporter 👋)”
Yeah, that was me. Until today.
But you know what? I’ve built two amazing businesses that are changing lives every day — Ashley Jade Ltd and Ashley Jade Vocational College. So why shouldn’t I share the behind-the-scenes, the wins, the chaos, and the lessons with you?
Why I’m Finally Blogging (And Why You Should Stick Around)
Here’s the thing. I’m all about helping hair, beauty, nails, aesthetics and makeup professionals realise they can do SO much more than just work on the salon floor (as brilliant as that is).
👉 Through Ashley Jade Ltd, I help salon professionals become qualified educators and build their own accredited training academies.
👉 Through Ashley Jade Vocational College, we provide life-changing alternative education to young people who have struggled in mainstream education, particularly those with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
Two very different missions. But they have one thing in common:

Whether I’m supporting a child who’s been out of education, or helping a salon owner open their dream academy, it’s always about giving people the chance to succeed.

Quick Glimpse of My World Right Now
Right now, Ashley Jade Vocational College is making an incredible difference to young people aged 13-16 who struggle in mainstream schools due to SEMH.
We also run:
- Bridge the Gap programmes for children who are no longer in education and are home educated
- Post-16 education for learners with SEMH and learning needs
- Fully accredited OFQUAL regulated Hair and Beauty qualifications from Entry 3 to Level 2
- We are proud to be an approved VTCT and Open Awards provider
Honestly, the work we’re doing with our learners is life-changing. Seeing them re-engage, grow in confidence, and succeed where they were once written off? There’s no better feeling.
